Honoring Freud: A Tribute to the Father of Psychoanalysis

    As part of our B.Ed program, we commemorated the death anniversary of Sigmund Freud, the father of psychoanalysis, under the guidance of our psychology teacher, Karthik Sir. The event was a meaningful tribute to Freud’s profound impact on the field of psychology and education.

    After the official inauguration of the program a brief introduction to Freud’s life and contributions, highlighting his groundbreaking theories, such as the psychoanalytic model and the significance of the unconscious mind. Students presented speeches that showcased Freud’s influence on modern psychology and how his ideas remain relevant in understanding human behavior and learning.

    Karthik Sir’s insightful guidance ensured that the session was both educational and engaging. The event concluded with a reflection on the enduring legacy of Freud, leaving us inspired to delve deeper into the complexities of the human mind and its influence on education.

  Teaching Practice Reflections: Days 6–10 Days six to ten of my teaching practice marked a clear shift from settling in to confidently experimenting with different teaching strategies. Each day brought opportunities to strengthen both content delivery and classroom management while responding to students’ learning needs. Teaching grammar concepts such as types of sentences, determiners, and collective nouns helped me understand how structured methods make learning easier for students. The use of ICT , along with activities and group work, consistently increased student interest and participation. Students were more willing to share ideas, attempt answers, and collaborate when visuals and interactive tasks were used. Observation day became a valuable learning moment. Teaching Practice – Week Five Reflection           Week Five of my teaching practice at G.V.H.S.S Kadakkal was an eventful blend of academics, celebrations, and responsibilities. The days were filled with activities that highlighted the spirit of the school — from the excitement of elections and the pride of Independence Day to the joy of classroom learning.
