Subject Association Activity: Exploring Indian Writers

As part of our Subject Association activities, our group of five members conducted a session on Indian Writers. Each member contributed by preparing and presenting information about a notable figure in Indian literature. My focus was on the eminent writer Mulk Raj Anand, whose significant contributions to Indian English literature have left a lasting legacy.

I prepared a detailed profile of Mulk Raj Anand on a chart, highlighting his life, major works, and literary achievements. During the session, I taught the class about his impact on Indian literature, particularly his exploration of social issues through his novels such as Untouchable and Coolie. The session was interactive, with classmates engaging in discussions and asking insightful questions.

The activity was a great opportunity to delve deeper into the rich heritage of Indian writers and share knowledge with peers. It enhanced our understanding of literature and strengthened our collaborative and teaching skills. Overall, it was an enriching and fulfilling experience.
