Final Day of School Induction at G.H.S.S. Chithara

October 7, 2024, marked the final day of our school induction at G.H.S.S. Chithara, concluding an enriching and memorable experience. We reached the school by 9:15 am and began the day by signing the register. The morning started with observing a class by Neethu teacher in 10A, which was engaging and insightful. Later, Sruthy, Alfiya, and I conducted an interactive session with class 8F, which was met with enthusiasm from the students.

During the mid-day meal program, we participated in serving lunch, strengthening our bond with the school community. Afterward, we conducted a conscientization program for class 8D on the POCSO Act, aiming to create awareness about child safety and rights. The session was impactful and well-received by the students. As part of our capacity-building program conducted earlier, we presented pens as gifts to the students who wrote the two best stories, encouraging their creativity and rewarding their efforts.

At 4:00 pm, we sought permission from the Headmistress to conclude our induction. After signing the register, we left the school at 4:15 pm, reflecting on the valuable experiences and connections formed over the past few days. This induction program was a significant step in our journey as aspiring educators, leaving us inspired and motivated for the future.

  Teaching Practice Reflections: Days 6–10 Days six to ten of my teaching practice marked a clear shift from settling in to confidently experimenting with different teaching strategies. Each day brought opportunities to strengthen both content delivery and classroom management while responding to students’ learning needs. Teaching grammar concepts such as types of sentences, determiners, and collective nouns helped me understand how structured methods make learning easier for students. The use of ICT , along with activities and group work, consistently increased student interest and participation. Teaching Practice – Week Five Reflection           Week Five of my teaching practice at G.V.H.S.S Kadakkal was an eventful blend of academics, celebrations, and responsibilities. The days were filled with activities that highlighted the spirit of the school — from the excitement of elections and the pride of Independence Day to the joy of classroom learning.
