Swachhata Hi Seva: Gandhi Jayanti Celebration




















Our institution commemorated Gandhi Jayanti with a week-long grand celebration, themed "Swachhata Hi Seva" (Cleanliness is Service). The event aimed to promote cleanliness, community engagement, and environmental awareness through a series of activities and initiatives.
The celebration was preceded by a home survey conducted by us, which provided valuable insights into the community's awareness and practices related to cleanliness and sanitation.The main event kicked off with a sticker pasting campaign among students, distributing notepads and pens with motivational stickers emphasizing the importance of cleanliness and hygiene.
We organized a seminar by Smitha Ma'am, a resource person from Harithakelaram, who shared valuable insights on environmental conservation and sustainability. The seminar was attended by students and faculty members, sparking interesting discussions and debates on environmental issues.
We honored the Haritha Karma Sena members for their dedication to environmental conservation. This felicitation ceremony recognized the efforts of individuals and groups working towards a cleaner and greener environment.
A group of students participated in a plastic collection campaign, collecting plastic waste from the campus and surrounding areas. This initiative highlighted the importance of reducing plastic waste and promoting a cleaner environment.
Other activities included cleanliness drives, tree plantation initiatives, and awareness campaigns on waste management and sustainability.Through this celebration, we reiterated our commitment to cleanliness, community service, and environmental sustainability, upholding the values of Mahatma Gandhi.
