College Sports Day – A Thrilling Experience

Recently, our college celebrated its Annual Sports Day, and it turned out to be a truly energetic and unforgettable experience. The event was conducted over two days, bringing together students in a spirit of enthusiasm, healthy competition, and sportsmanship.

The first day (12 June, 2025) set the tone with a lively atmosphere as various track and field events were organised. Competitions such as shot put, relay races, and several preliminary rounds were conducted. Students from all houses participated with great excitement, cheering for their teams and giving their best performances on the field.

The second day (13 June, 2025) was even more thrilling, featuring a wide range of events including 100m, 200m, and 400m races, lemon and spoon race, football and cricket matches, and the much-awaited Vadam Vali (tug of war). Each event showcased the competitive spirit and unity among the participants. The campus was alive with applause, laughter, and vibrant house colours.

I proudly represented the Green House, and it was an honour to be an active participant in such a spirited occasion. I took part in several events, including the 100m sprint, shot put, caroms, and football. Running on the track amid loud cheers was a moment I will always cherish. Although the events were challenging, they gave me a strong sense of accomplishment and team pride.

Overall, the Sports Day celebration was not just about winning medals or trophies but about coming together as a college community. It encouraged cooperation, mutual support, and physical fitness while strengthening bonds among students. The experience helped me connect more closely with my classmates and left me with lasting memories that I will treasure for years to come.
